NEW TO PILATES?

Pilates is an innovative and safe system of mind-body exercise using a floor mat or a variety of equipment. It evolved from the principles of Joseph Pilates and can dramatically transform the way your body looks, feels and performs. Pilates builds strength without excess bulk, creating a sleek, toned body. It is a safe, sensible exercise system that will help you look and feel your very best.

Pilates teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. Pilates also improves flexibility, mobility and can even alleviate back pain. No matter your age or condition, it can work for you.

FAQ

Who is Pilates for?

Pilates is for anyone, no matter your age or gender. Many professional athletes, celebrities, dancers and every day hard working people rave about the benefits of Pilates. *If you have never worked out on the Pilates Reformer we recommend 1-3 Private Sessions before attending Reformer Group classes to become familiar with the Reformer.

What to wear?

Comfortable workout clothes that you can move in. Form fitting is suggested so you are covered during movements. Dress to your personal, appropriate comfort level. You will workout barefoot on the Reformer or if you prefer socks, Pilates socks with grips are recommended.

What to bring?

We have small cubbies to store your belongings. Bring a water bottle if desired, the building has a water fountain for refills. There is a restroom that can be used to change clothes, no shower. Bring a small sweat towel if desired, we also have some provided if you forget. *Please limit personal belongings due to COVID-19 for safety.

Where to park and enter the building?

The building has the word JOE on the top so it's easy to find. You can park in any space in front of the building. If you park in front, walk through the double doors to enter main lobby, turn left at the glass staircase, walk past the restrooms and go through hallway door. The studio is on the right. *There is also a side entrance on the left of the building that is a quicker way to access the studio. Park on the left side of the building (facing Richard Jackson Blvd) and enter the side door entrance. The studio is down the hall on the left.

When should I arrive?

If it is your first session please arrive 10 minutes early to become familiar with the studio. When attending Reformer Group classes please arrive 5 minutes early. Please call us if you have any trouble finding the studio.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

We have a strict cancellation policy due to limited space and respect for other clients who may be on the waitlist.
